After working as junior registrar at Rotorua in 2005, I gained entry into the New Zealand Orthopaedic Training Programme. I gained fellowship in 2013.

Subsequent to this I went on to acquire further subspecialty training in both foot and ankle surgery in Tauranga, and spine surgery at the AO Spine reference Centre in Adelaide.
